The conversation around rape culture is not over. Not until the factory that creates rapists and perpetrators is destroyed. Come join us as we take to the streets to protest once again, this time, through a flash mob. We will perform “Tui Dhorshok”, adapted from the famous feminist anthem born in Chile that has taken the world by storm. Come join us at 3 pm this Saturday in Dhanmondi (exact location is still a secret 😉 stay tuned to find out). Anyone who identifies as a woman or identifies with experiences of womanhood can be a part of the flash mob! Please wear black and bring something (preferably black) to blindfold your eyes during the performance. Allies are welcome to watch and cheer.

ধর্ষণকে কেন্দ্র করে চলা কথোপকথন এখনও শেষ হতে দেওয়া যাবে না। অন্ততপক্ষে যতদিন ধর্ষক তৈরির কারখানাটি ধ্বংস না হয়। আসুন আমরা আবারও রাস্তায় নামি, এইবার ফ্ল্যাশমবের মাধ্যমে প্রতিবাদ করার উদ্দেশ্যে। আমরা সবাই “তুই ধর্ষক” নামের চিলিতে জন্মগ্রহণকৃত বিখ্যাত নারীবাদী সংগীতটি পরিবেশন করব, যা ইতিমধ্যে বিভিন্ন দেশে ঝড় তুলেছে। ধানমন্ডিতে এই শনিবার বেলা তিনটায় আমাদের সাথে যোগ দিন (সঠিক অবস্থানটি এখনও একটি গোপনীয় বিষয় 😉 এটি জানতে আমাদের সাথেই থাকুন)। নারী বা নারীত্বের অভিজ্ঞতার সাথে পরিচিত সকলেই এই ফ্ল্যাশমবে যোগ দিতে পারবে! কালো পোশাক পরার পাশাপাশি চোখ বাধারও এক টুকরা কাপড় এনেন (কালো হলে ভাল হয়) পারফর্মেন্সের জন্য। Ally বা মিত্রদেরও স্বাগতম আমাদের পাশে থেকে আমাদেরকে উল্লসিত করার জন্য।
