Congratulations to our incredible Bangladesh Women’s Football Team for retaining the SAFF Women’s Championship title! In a thrilling battle against host Nepal, our stars Monika Chakma and Ritu Porna Chakma shone bright, leading Bangladesh to a 2-1 victory at Dasharath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu!
After a goalless first half, Monika opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, only for Nepal to equalize just three minutes later. But Ritu’s spectacular goal in the 81st minute sealed the game, securing a historic back-to-back South Asian title for Sabina Khatun and her unstoppable team!
This victory not only adds to Bangladesh’s proud legacy but also shows the relentless spirit and skill of our women’s football team.
