- Alep Uddin allegedly tortured victims with electric shocks, blindfolding, and beating after hanging them upside down.
- He was arrested on November 13, along with former Superintendent of Police Mohiuddin Farooqui, who is also accused of enforced disappearance and torture.
- The ICT has received new allegations against Alep Uddin daily, and the investigation agency is working to submit a report and start the formal trial process.
- 10 former officials, including a former police chief and a former director general of NTMC, were produced before the ICT on charges of genocide and crimes against humanity.
