A man, Redwan Islam Arif, has been arrested for allegedly raping a 3-year-old child in Baralekha upazila of Moulvibazar.
– The incident occurred on Monday (3 March 2025) morning when the child went to Arif’s shop to buy chocolates.
– The victim’s mother filed a case with Baralekha police station, leading to Arif’s arrest.
– The child is receiving treatment at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
– The police plan to hand Arif over to the court.
