Police in Bangladesh’s capital, Dhaka, used batons to disperse a crowd of protesters from the “Bangladesh Against Rape and Atrocities” platform, who were marching towards the chief advisor’s residence on Tuesday (11 March 2025). The protesters were demanding justice and submitting a memorandum with 9 points, but were stopped by police barricades near the Intercontinental Hotel, leading to a scuffle.
