A 45-year-old woman’s body found in front of Dhaka hotel, cause of death unknown

A 45-year-old unidentified woman’s body was found in front of the Sonargaon Hotel under Hatirjheel police station in Dhaka.

– She was wearing an orange saree, blouse, and petticoat, and had a bruised head.

– Police received a report at 5:30 am and took her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where she was declared dead at 6 am.

– The cause of death is unknown, pending autopsy report, and police are investigating whether it was a road accident or another reason.

– Fingerprints are being collected to identify the person, and her body is kept at DMCH Hospital morgue for autopsy.
