A court in Dhaka sentenced three men to life imprisonment for gang-rape.
– The verdict was given by Judge Md. Golam Kabir of Dhaka’s Women and Child Repression Prevention Tribunal-3.
– The accused, Shamim Hossain, Nazmul, and Zilkad, were also fined Tk 1 lakh each.
– The incident occurred on March 15, 2016, in Jatrabari, and a case was filed under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act.
