Two schoolgirls, aged 14 and 15, were allegedly raped by Hasmat Ali and Shihab Mandal in the Bongram area of Kosbamajail Union.
– The incident occurred when the girls were returning home from private lessons.
– The accused allegedly blocked their path, took them hostage with sharp blades, and forcibly took them to a separate place where they were raped.
– The victims’ families filed two separate cases with the Pansha Police Station.
– Shihab Mandal was arrested by police and confessed to the allegations.
– Signs of rape were found on his clothes.
– Hasmat Ali is still at large, and police are working to arrest him.
– The arrested individual will be sent to Rajbari court, and health examinations are being conducted for the victims.
– The victims’ families reported that the accused had previously harassed the girls and are demanding appropriate punishment.
