A former part-time teacher was arrested for allegedly raping four minor students, all from poor families, after luring them to a rented house in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur area.
– The teacher was previously fired from a school in Narayanganj for sexually harassing a student.
– The victims were in grades 9 and 10, and the teacher promised to pay their education expenses to lure them.
– Police raided the rented house and rescued two students, while one victim escaped earlier and reported the incident to their family.
– A case has been filed under the Prevention of Oppression of Women and Children Act, and the teacher has been granted a three-day remand.
– The teacher had no proper qualifications but was appointed as an art teacher at the school.
