Parents of students killed in the Milestone College plane crash in Uttara attempted to submit a memorandum to the school authorities on Saturday but were prevented from doing so after the principal refused to meet with them.

The guardians, who had earlier organized a human chain with nine demands and a 72-hour ultimatum, gathered at the school around noon, joined by journalists. Security personnel initially blocked them at the gate, but later they were taken to a ground-floor meeting room. There, they requested that the principal accept their memorandum in the presence of the media. Instead, school officials proposed that only a small group of parents meet the principal privately. The parents rejected this, stressing the need for transparency.

When the principal failed to appear, the meeting ended without the memorandum being accepted. Parents later spoke to journalists outside, alleging that the school ignored their demands, spread misinformation about them on social media, and pressured students into coaching classes. Several families recounted how such pressure contributed to their children being inside the building at the time of the July 21 crash.

The guardians said they will hold discussions among themselves to decide next steps and will announce their decision through a press conference.
