Helish Ranjan Sarker, acting director of Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital in Kishoreganj, has been sued on September 1 over allegations of raping an employee.
– A complaint has been filed with the Kishoreganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-1.
– According to the FIR, Helish Ranjan Sarker allegedly stalked the victim, called her to his house on August 21 under false pretenses, and allegedly raped her, threatening to kill her if she told anyone.
– The FIR also states that he allegedly attempted to rape her again on hospital grounds on August 26 but was caught by hospital staff.
– Helish Ranjan Sarker denies the allegations, claiming he is a victim of conspiracy.
– The OC of Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station, Abdullah Al Mamun, has stated that the police will follow the court’s orders.
